The good thing about overcast days is you don’t have to deal with near as many crazy shadows from the midday sun, so you don’t have to get up at dawn to get evenly lit photos. The bad thing about overcast days is that sometimes they come with rain.
“Good news!” I fibbed when Kerri opened the door “It’s raining!” It was still early and the rain was hours ahead of the forecast, and I was worried this shoot was going to get postponed.
Not a chance. In fact, it never even came up. We drank a cup of coffee, talked a bit about locations, grabbed some umbrellas and headed out the door.

Fortunately the drizzle sort of fizzled out early, and we were able to get in several locations before we got soaked.

Then it was time to get wet. I mean we were all sort of ready, and then the rain died out early. So we improvised.
