Sunday, Rainy Sunday

The good thing about overcast days is you don’t have to deal with near as many crazy shadows from the midday sun, so you don’t have to get up at dawn to get evenly lit photos. The bad thing about overcast days is that sometimes they come with rain.

“Good news!” I fibbed when Kerri opened the door “It’s raining!” It was still early and the rain was hours ahead of the forecast, and I was worried this shoot was going to get postponed.

Not a chance. In fact, it never even came up. We drank a cup of coffee, talked a bit about locations, grabbed some umbrellas and headed out the door.

Ah! Nathan, you did it again!!! These are brilliant! I loooove the umbrella idea! And the bamboo grove is such a unique look. Beautiful.

thanks Jess! They really were so much fun. Photos in the rain, jumping in a a dirty creek. They were up for anything. that always makes for great photos. And the Bamboo, well that’s just a lucky find.
